About Us
We are multi-disciplinary cycling team with a fixed-gear focus, based in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to create a safe and accessible place where aspiring athletes can learn, grow, train, and have the opportunity to race. We aim to build up the community by educating, fostering bonds between new and veteran cyclists, and providing opportunities to grown in the race scene.
Gruppetto (n):
In a race, a gruppetto is a group of cyclists who are chasing the lead group, working together to stay in contention and finish the race. Like a gruppetto, we seek to help and support cyclists chase their dreams, whether that is getting them to the start line or helping them finish their first group ride. We are here to work with you on your goals, dreams, and aspirations as a cyclist.
Our Team
Our team is composed of a group of cyclists that have had extensive experience in sport and coaching. Francesco Martucci, our lead coach, has raced since he was 10 years old and coached junior cycling teams for 6 years in Italy. Melissa Martucci, a high school teacher with 10 years of experience and decorated fixed gear athlete, works with both our junior and women athletes, making sure they are both successful in the peloton and in the classroom.
